I'm trying to configure IIS as a front-end server to domino.
I have IIS 7.5 configured with the websphere plugin to pass through any URLs with *.nsf/* and *.NSF/* to Domino. This is working for anonymous databases. However, I would like to set up security so that IIS authenticates the user (using forms authentication) and the user ID is used to determine access in Domino.
Is this possible?
I read in many places that NTLM (or Integrated Windows security) can be configured so that IE browsers can pass through credentials, but this isn't what I need. I need for an IIS authenticated user to be able to access Domino where the user ID and password has been authenticated against a SQL Server Membership database (ASPNETDB).
The following information may be pertinent:
The IIS server is on a different machine (Windows 7) to the Domino server.
Domino 8.5.1 is running on Windows 2003 Server.
